Topic of the evening: Fall Seasonal Beers and Pie night
If you have made any fall seasonal beers, please bring them to share.
These will be paired with an apple pie, a pecan pie and a Pumpkin Tres Leches cake.
Be hungry! because there will be plenty of pie to go around.
As always, there will be an eye popping raffle.
Other upcoming events:
Annual Christmas party will be on December 2nd – at Saturday night. Family welcome.
- This year, there will be a door prize for members. You will receive your ticket when you arrive. 2 prizes will be given.
- The other events will be dinner- pulled pork will be provided, please bring a side dish or dessert to share. Bring your festive homebrew to share
- White Elephant Craft Beer exchange. If you would like to participate, bring a 6 pack or comparably priced 4 pack wrapped to the exchange.
Dues for next year will be due in January- $ 15 per person or $20 for family. Encourage your friends and family to share in our club.
Our next competition at the Winter Beer Fest is earlier this year – the first Saturday in February: February 3rd at the Convention Center. Please start brewing now for your entries. The competitions are our biggest fund raisers of the year, so we need all the beer and help we can get to make these events successful. Judging, stewarding and any other help is appreciated. More information to follow in the upcoming months.
BJCP classes are a great way to increase your knowledge. A new series of classes to help prepare you for the judging exam will begin in the late winter. Will and Katherine will be shortening the series and will be available to discuss this at our upcoming meetings.
